Typing traditional characters in pinyin

How do you type traditional characters in Linux with scim? There are a few different input methods. But since I don’t know bopomofo (zhuyin), I want to type in pinyin.
The solution is simple. Use the same scim setup discussed previously, with scim-pinyin. When you are ready to type, press Ctrl+space to bring up the scim toolbar. One of the buttons on the toolbar says “中”. Click it three times (or press Ctrl+/ three times) until it reads “繁”, as in 繁體子. All set! Now start typing in pinyin, and the traditional characters are displayed.
