Your next laptop: OLPC

logo

I read a fascinating article about the “One Laptop Per Child” laptops that are available now. For a limited time, anyone from the US or Canada can purchase them. This program has been extended to December 31, 2007.

My bash prompt

logo

This is the bash prompt I have been using for quite a while, taken from one of the most impressive graphical designers I’ve ever seen. I’ve been using this prompt for a few years now and have always enjoyed it.

rxvt-unicode

logo

I’ve been a happy Eterm user for quite a while now. But, recently, I decided that there is no good reason for opening Firefox or OpenOffice just to compose emails and text in Russian. I need a terminal emulator that is fast, customizable, and supports Unicode, ie. UTF-8.
